Wildcat Community FreeSchool Internship Opportunity

A unique opportunity to teach and learn in our unique model of democratic learning. We are looking for a very special intern to contribute in the teaching of their specific experience, talent or passion, possibly including but not limited to one or more of the following: science, foreign language, music, physical education, drama, or dance. Operating in the free-democratic tradition, Wildcat Community FreeSchool serves children ranging in age from 5-14 years old, K-8th grades. Children at Wildcat Community FreeSchool shape their own learning experiences, and their choices are respected and supported. From sailing and hiking trips to pottery and construction projects, the school provides solid resources for motivated and meaningful learning in the arts, sciences, math, reading, and writing. At WCF, the flow between academics and the real world is obvious and natural.
