Wildcat Community FreeSchool Summer Camp 2010

Nature - Arts - Freedom

	Nature Campers will enjoy exploring our neighboring Wildcat Regional Park with Sara Fries, a credentialed teacher with over 20 years of experience. Fort building, tree climbing, creek walking, bug hunting and soaking in the sites, smells and sounds of this beautiful, natural setting await curious adventurers.
	Arts Children can experience inspired art sessions, offered by Kent Fries, an artist with an MFA from UC Davis. Both wheel thrown and hand built ceramics, metal smithing, carpentry, drawing, painting and papier mache, are among the many choices in creativity campers will have.

Freedom

Have you been craving a more free space for your child? Our summer program may be just what you've been looking for. At Wildcat, children have the freedom to experience the world without imposed agendas, and as a result, many marvelous things happen. Our past summer campers have found themselves...

performing skits
playing electric guitar, drums and piano
exploring kinetic building while learning about force, gravity and motion
riding bikes, building ramps and skateboarding

playing outdoor and indoor games like Capture the Flag and chess
learning to cook in our kitchen
sharpen their balancing skills on our slack line
communing with our three tame bunnies and playing with Woody, our school Labrador

Most importantly, our campers have made new friends in a place where socializing feels easy and without pressure.

At the close of each week, campers, camp directors, families and friends will gather together to celebrate the week's adventures.

Logistics

Camp is held Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm

Children must be 4 years, 9 months to 14 years old to participate

Tuition

Tuition for Summer Camp at Wildcat Community FreeSchool is based on how many days your child attends.

The tuition scale is as follows:

Cost: (before April 1st)

Three days per week: $150
Four days per week: $175
Five days per week: $200

Cost: (after April 1st)

Three days per week: $170
Four days per week: $195
Five days per week: $220

Extended Care available. Before (8-9am) $25/week, After (3-5:30pm) $75/week, both $90/week.

Discounted Tuition

Sign up for three or more weeks and take an additional $10 off/week.
Siblings take $10 off/week as well.
